Police were called shortly after 3 p.m. on Sunday-- when officers arrived on site they encountered a man at the front door. Police took him into custody and shortly after they searched the home and found the four bodies.
More than 200 residents came to the scene of the crime later that night, while police were still investigating.
Pattenden told reporters he wants to re-assure the community that the suspect is in custody, and is facing charges.
