There’s a new streaming service launching soon in Canada, and let’s just say, Netflix has got
some more competition on its way.
The Walt Disney Company has announced it will be launching Disney Plus mid-November.
This streaming service will first be available in the United States, Canada, and Netherlands, costing $8.99 a month per subscription.
This new service will have a variety of Disney animated classics, as well as Marvel and Pixar movies.
The company says Disney Plus will also have packaged bundles available at a discounted rate with Hulu and ESPN, however it will only be available in the United States.
Titles of the TV shows and movies haven’t been announced as of yet, but the company has teased some projects that are in the works.
Disney Plus will be available across all major mobile and connected TV devices, and will give viewers an opportunity to sign up whether they use Google, Microsoft, Apple, Roku or Sony products.
The streaming service will be launching on November 12, and will then release on November 19th in Australia and New Zealand.
