Electors confirm Joe Biden as the next president

Electors put the final nail in President Trump's election defeat in the Novemvermber 3 vote and burst all hopes of overturning the results in the Republican's favor.

Electors met earlier in the day to cast their votes per the outcome of last month's presidential election. Electors in the battleground states--Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin-- all voted to confirm Joe Biden as the winner despite President Trump's legal efforts, which have all failed, to present a case of irregularities in the vote-count.

Biden is scheduled to address the nation at 7:30 pm ET, Monday, calling on all Americans to "turn the page" of what was to what can be.

Meanwhile, President Trump continues to spread unsupported claims of voter fraud via his Twitter feed and to this day refuses to concede.
