French police looking for masked man linked to suitcase bomb

An explosion rocked the French city of Lyon at 5:30pm local time.

13 people have been hospitalized and are facing minor injuries. No deaths have been reported.

Police say CCTV camera show a masked man placing a bag at the site of the explosion moments before the bomb went off.

Prosecutors are treating the incident as a terrorist attack and have opened an investigation into the case.

Police say the suspect was last scene wearing beige Bermuda shots, an army-green scarf and dark glasses. The suspect is believed to be between the ages of 30 to 35, and has been described as a European or North African male.
