Kentucky's Attorney General Daniel Cameron has joined President Trump in his fight to investigate allegations of voter fraud in Pennsylvania's mail-in-ballot count.
Cameron, a Republican, said the move is in no way an endorsement of Trump's claims that the election was indeed stolen from him, but simply a way to bring confidence to the electorate that the election was fair and free from any malpractices.
“While this did not occur in Kentucky, what happens in other states during a presidential election matters to Kentuckians because we are electing our president and vice president,” Cameron said, adding, "It will be hard for some people to accept the results “if they think issues like these go unexplored.”
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, a Democrat, expressed concerns in Cameron's involvement in Pennsylvania's election process, saying, "It creates at least the appearance of--your guy didn’t win, and therefore you’re going to use government resources to attack it.”
Beshear is urging his AG to withdraw his involvement and "let Pennsylvania officials deal with it.”
