The accused pair, who cannot be identified because of rules stipulated in the Youth Criminal Justice Act, made their first court appearance today.

The pair have been charged with three counts of attempted murder, assault, and failure to remain on scene after striking an 18-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys on October 26, 2019, with their white Honda SUV at Elgin Drive and Mclaughlin Road.

All three victims are said to be in stable non-life-threatening condition. No word yet if the incident was targeted.

Police are combing through security video for investigative purposes. Homeowners and drivers with dashcam video who live and or were driving by the intersection at the time of the incident, between 6:00 pm—6:30 pm, are encouraged to check their security footage for a white Honda Pilot SUV and share it with police.
