Scotland's government says they are investigating two confirmed cases of what at this moment appears to be regular flu, but because of the flu-like nature coronavirus exhibits, health officials have been asked to look for any signs of corona.

Government officials say the two patients recently returned from Wuhan, China. Wuhan is believed to be the epicenter of the influenza-like virus.

Already 500 Chinese nationals have been diagnosed with the virus which has claimed the lives of 18 people.

Three other people are also being examined as a precautionary measure. Local authorities have confirmed that at least 34 people in Scotland, mostly students, visited Wuhan last year.

There are currently no confirmed cases of the virus in Scotland.
