The blast took place not too far from Somalia's international airport. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack but local militant group al-Shabab is the main suspect.
On Nov. 17 Al-Shabab forces carried out a similar attack but this time at a restaurant near a police academy. Five civilians died that day the suicide explosion.
