Prince Edward Island Premier Dennis King addressed the possibility of inter-travel between PEI and New Brunswick this summer across the Confederation Bridge.
Checkpoints are in place at both ends of the bridge. But non-essential travel is not allowed.
“I wouldn't say we're in a position today to announce any time soon, but it is and remains a hope of mine,” King said on Wednesday.
Premier Higgs of New Brunswick said he is not looking at opening travel anytime before July 1st, but it’s on his radar.
Premier King said many circumstances would have to align before its safe to explore that option.
