Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been the Trump Administrations press secretary for 3 and a half years.
Sanders first came in a a replacement for Sean Spicer, the infamous Press Secretary who is known for claiming Trump's inaugural crowd to be the largest in American history.
Sanders will be stepping down from her role by the end of June-the exact date hasn't yet been announced.
U.S President Donald Trump had noting but praise for Sanders. In a tweet the President said, “After 3 1/2 years, our wonderful Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the White House at the end of the month and going home to the Great State of Arkansas.” Trump also went on to praise Sanders leadership skills and political wisdom.
“She is a very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job! I hope she decides to run for Governor of Arkansas - she would be fantastic. "
Sanders herself, is yet to comment on her departure. The announcement was made by President Trump, but has been an ongoing rumour withing the walls of Washington.
